There’s a new superyacht in Jacksonville. (And it’s not Shad Khan’s Kismet.)

New to the downtown riverfront and skyline this week is the superyacht Satori.

The 210-foot-long, 1,584-ton unmarked yacht has taken up residence on the St. Johns near the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront after making its way to the River City on Tuesday from a recent stay in Palm Beach, according to vesselfinder.com. Previous ports of call included France in September and Portugal in October.

The Cayman Islands-flagged yacht was built in 2018 by Delta Marine and can sleep up to 12 guests and a crew of 18, according to superyachttimes.com.

Its owner is purportedly Eric Benson, CEO of San Diego-based Pacific Steel Group, according to superyachtfan.com. Pacific Steel primarily produces rebar.

By comparison, Jaguars owner Shad Khan’s superyacht, Kismet — which makes annual stops in Jacksonville — measures 300 feet long and weighs in at 2,900 tons.
